Together

As I walk down the street and look around I see the silence and absence of love and solidarity. But do not worry, that is not all that I see. There is plenty to look and listen to, There is hate and greed and the wonderful hum of disrespect. Do not fret, the power hungry selfish people are prancing around yearning for us to gawk at them. Lack of compassion pollutes the worlds communities, but do not feel bothered we still have the superficial clans craving our undivided attention to fill our souls and minds with talk and fuss about hairdos and nail polish. They than top off our brains with the newest distractions to assist us in straying away from our ultimate goal which essentially is love.  We as people must notice this and sidestep this harmful way of life, so that one day a child can walk down the street and feel the warmth of acceptance and faith that they will always be safe. 

We must come together to have peace.
